Great staff all around, they even helped us check in early 🌟. the location, right by the bay, was simply stunning and awesome.

stunning location near the dunes, modern facilities. for tea or coffee visit the cheesecake factory nearby.

The staff is really friendly here, the services are good, and location is amazing close enough to Walvis Bay, Atlantis shore and the dunes. The rooms are good sized, with twin beds and private patio provided. The breakfast options are more than adequate and delightful with omelette station too.

The staff was extremely accommodating, and the location offers WONDERFUL views of the bay. the room had a mini-fridge-bar, a personal safe, climate control, and a comfy bed. They serve a more than adequate breakfast with a variety of hot and cold dishes. the hotel is conveniently located next to waterfront restaurants, harbor cruises, the sea, and the promenade. it is close to the public footpath on the bay side.

I was very satisfied with the Protea Hotel, but was dissapointed to pay for the shuttle to the airport. On your website you say there is a free shuttle from the airport, but you don't say anything that you have to pay for the shuttle to the airport

This place was clean, uniquely decorated, and in a great location, providing us with a cozy room featuring twin beds and a private patio.

The staff were friendly. The view of the lagoon from the rooms is breathtaking. The room service was fast and the food good, but expensive.

Breakfast is so-so and only served until 10am.

I had a wonderful stay at Protea Hotel in Walvis Bay. The location was absolutely stunning, situated right on the lagoon and next to the Waterfront and the Raft. The abundance of birdlife, especially the thousands of pelicans, added to the beauty of the surroundings. My room was comfortable with a big and comfy bed, allowing me to have a good rest during my 4-night stay. The hotel staff were helpful and friendly, making me feel welcome throughout my stay.

The restaurant. Although it was beautiful, the quality of food and service left much to be desired.

Convenient 25-minute drive from the airport. If we ever come back to this place, we'd definitely choose to stay here again! 😉

Fantastic staff who are extremely helpful and friendly. the hotel is in a fantastic location with stunning views of the flamingos. the breakfast is excellent and there are plenty of good restaurant options nearby. the hotel is well-furnished and the wifi is reliable.

I absolutely loved the beautiful decoration of the hotel's general areas. The lobby and lounge were tastefully adorned with elegant furniture and lovely artwork, creating a cozy and welcoming atmosphere. As a senior woman, I found it delightful to relax and read a book in these charming spaces. Additionally, the hotel's accessibility for senior people was excellent. There were ramps and handrails throughout the property, making it easy and safe for me to navigate around, especially with my walking stick.

I would have preferred if the children working there were more attentive and helpful to senior guests. A little more consideration and assistance from the staff would have made my vacation even better.

protea hotel exceeded my expectations during this long stay in walvis bay. the location was superb with stunning views overlooking the bay. the staff were helpful, wifi was reliable, and the buffet breakfast was outstanding for a bed and breakfast.
